Perhaps of all of the flowers, the Hydrangea, is the most nostalgic and chic.  Reminiscent of grandmother's garden, and almost impossibly beautiful, the hydrangea is a delicate ball of closely clustered flowers in almost impossible color choices. There are two different natural flower arrangements in the hydrangea plant.  The first are the mop-head flowers, which are large round flower heads which resemble a pom-pom in shape.  The other arrangement of flowers on the hydrangea is best known as the lace cap.  The center flowers are subdued surrounded by more showy outer flowers in a more linear rather than ball shape.
